Quickstart
From sign-up to asking your AI “how are my sites doing?” in a few minutes.
1. Sign up and create a workspace
Sign in with a magic link or Google. Name your workspace and check the time zone (it's used for daily charts, digests and “today”). Your first workspace starts on a 14-day Pro trial, with no card required.
2. Add a site
Paste the site's URL. Mosaicdeck reads the homepage and fills in the name and kind for you; change them if they're off. Uptime checks start straight away (every minute on Pro,5 minutes on Free).
3. Connect your data
Pick one or both. You can add the other later from the site's Connections tab.
Let a coding agent do it
If the site's code is in a repository you work on with Claude Code or another coding agent, copy the prompt fromSet up with an AI agent (shown after you add a site, and on its Connections tab). It's written for that site: its script tag, custom events that suit its kind, and, if you want them, the metrics endpoint and the numbers worth reporting. The agent opens a pull request for you to review. The prompt never contains your metrics secret, and the agent never needs it: your deployed endpoint reads it at runtime from MOSAICDECK_SECRET, which you set in your host's secret settings.
Script tag: traffic and errors
Paste this into your site's <head>. The app shows it with your real site ID and copy buttons for common platforms.
<script defer src="https://t.mosaicdeck.com/s.js" data-site="site_01J9XEXAMPLE00000000000000"></script>Open your site in a browser. The checklist in the app turns from “Waiting for first page view…” to “Receiving data”. The script doesn't run on localhost, so test on your real domain. See Script installfor framework guides.
Metrics endpoint: your app's own numbers
Expose one signed JSON endpoint that lists numbers like signups or orders. The app shows a secret once, stack-specific code, and a Test connection button that shows exactly what it parsed. See theMetrics Protocol and the SDKs.
4. Look at your dashboard
Mosaicdeck builds a dashboard from what the site sends: traffic, your app metrics, custom events and health. Rearrange, resize or remove widgets if you like. Your portfolio home shows every site at once.
5. Ask your AI
Open Connect AI in the app, copy your server URL, and add it to Claude or another MCP client. Then ask “how are my sites doing this week?” Step-by-step instructions: Connect your AI.
Next
- Track custom events like signups or button clicks.
- Set up alerts and digests. Site-down emails and a weekly digest are already on.
